ADULT & COUPLES PSYCHOTHERAPY

ADULT PSYCHOTHERAPY

As a psychotherapist, I offer in-person and online therapy services for adults of all ages. I support patients by addressing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including depression, anxiety, social difficulties, marital issues, family crises, and anger management.

At the heart of my approach is a psychodynamic perspective, which recognizes the therapeutic relationship as the cornerstone of emotional transformation. By cultivating a safe and nurturing environment, I guide patients in bridging the gap between their inner experiences and their interpersonal world.

My therapeutic techniques are flexible and tailored to each individual unique goals, emotional state, and relational dynamics. While active listening forms the foundation of our sessions, I also provide thoughtful feedback. This collaborative process helps patients connect their past experiences with their present circumstances, promoting a deeper understanding of themselves.

Through our work together, patients gain valuable tools to navigate life challenges more effectively. My ultimate goal is to help individuals achieve greater fulfillment and emotional well-being in their daily lives.

COUPLES PSYCHOTHERAPY

Marital conflict is a significant source of emotional distress in many people lives. In couples therapy, we delve into defensive mechanisms and explore the therapeutic relationship to uncover the root causes of conflicts and recurring patterns within the partnership.

My approach to couples therapy focuses on improving communication and addressing key aspects of the relationship, including:

  • Parenting challenges throughout various stages of children lives

  • Individual attachment styles and how they impact the relationship

  • Sexuality and intimacy issues

  • Management of aggression and conflict

  • Deepening emotional connections

During our sessions, I guide couples in examining their relational history, particularly during moments of heightened emotion. This process can illuminate the connection between past experiences and current relationship dynamics, providing valuable insights into present-day challenges.

A primary goal of our work together is to develop the relationship capacity to serve as a secure base for both partners--one that can facilitate meaningful change and pave the way for a new chapter in their lives together.

By addressing these core elements, couples can work toward building a stronger, more resilient partnership and find renewed fulfillment in their relationship.
